The role of state ownership in regulating the impact of financial leverage on the application of the conservatism principle in accounting

The aim of this paper is to explore the role state ownership in regulating impact financial leverage on application conservatism principle accounting non-financial listed enterprises Vietnam from 2016 2020. Poold-OLS, fixed-effects model, and random-effects model methods were employed study. finding shows that state-ownership have a positive effect level conservatism. Which means, higher share ownership, stronger Vietnam. Moreover, has negative with as moderating variable. This reveals can limit using enterprises. On one hand, it because owned perform socio-economic goals country; other they are sponsored by government guaranteed loans, therefore tends reduce Accordingly, research results recommend should design policies accelerate equitization state-owned for improving quality information.
